Synopsis

Starting as a grass roots arts and education initiative, The Butterfly Project, has swelled into a global phenomenon, collecting 1.5 million handmade ceramic butterflies from around the world to create displays that memorialise the 1.5 million children killed in the Holocaust – one butterfly painted for each child. NOT The Last Butterfly presents the inspiring tale of the The Butterfly Project‘s 20-year history, with messages of hope and healing woven together with survivors’ courageous stories of these dark times.
